Snowboarding
That’s a pretty interesting slope over in Beijing. It’s just long, wide, and straight down. My big concern would be avoiding less experienced riders. They have this nasty habit of not being mindful of others. They’ll stop in the middle of the slope (either by choice or just falling over) or take very wide turns and nearly run into people.
Anyway, I wish Thomas the best of luck in learning to snowboard. Maybe he’ll have better luck than I did. My learning consisted of falling forward at high speed and elbowing myself in the gut. I’m not sure how much time passed while I lay on the snow filling my lungs back up but after that I got the hang of it and was off to the more challenging slopes.
