Source Delete Strikes Again!

I think I’ve found another instance of Tom Karpik’s reported Massive Data Loss Bug. My father bought an album from iTunes on his iPod touch and when we tried to sync it back to the laptop, the transfer failed around the halfway mark with iTunes reporting that it could not access the iPod. Next thing you know, the whole album we just purchased is GONE.

It was easy to purchase stuff on the iTunes wifi store, but all this “authorization” and “synchronizing” of purchases just kills the whole experience after your credit card gets “authorized” and “synchronized.”

I’m sure that they’ll just reauthorize a download but talk about a PITA.
