Big Drives & OS X

I recently purchased a hard drive enclosure so that I could have a ton of storage space. I put in two 750GB drives and attempted to format them with OS X Leopard. To my disappointment, OS X choked on the device and wouldn’t format it.

Luckily, my FreeBSD box that sits in the corner was more than happy to format it. If I get some spare time I might try out Sun’s new ZFS filesystem.
