I’m a little concerned that we could be raising a generation of very focussed accountants.”
Perhaps it’s the laptop and the iPhone which provide an unlimited source of distractions, that forces people to swing to the opposite end of the spectrum and start taking these kinds of medication.
Another problem is how it’s so difficult to unplug at the end of a work day. I know myself, the temptation to use a VPN connection back to the office to continue working can be very strong.
