MPAA: teachers should videotape monitors, not rip DVDs

Are the folks from the MPAA on drugs?

Looking past the obvious comparison between someone in a movie theatre with a video camera and a teacher with a video camera, where are teachers going to find the time and the equipment needed to actually do this task? Not every school has access to camcorders, which is a sad reflection of education in America.

Perhaps it’s good for everyone that the MPAA are buffoons that dream up such ludicrous ideas and actually present them in public. I’d be much more worried if they had people with IQs above 100.
