June Reading List
I can’t believe that it’s June already. May was just a blur!
I just recieved Doktor Sleepless from Heavy Ink which automatically tracks comic subscriptions and sends you titles when they become available.
I’m going over Securiing Windows Server 2003 for our Server 2003 deployments and a new Server 2008 deployment at work.
Another big reading material that I’ve been going through has been the Xen hypervisor manual and the Linux Volume Manager manual, since I’ve started to migrate work servers off bare metal and onto virtualized infrastructure to increase efficiency and streamline backup and recovery practices.
In the next week or two I’m also going to brush up on networking with Kurose & Ross and TCP/IP Administration since I have a few other projects that I would like to work on.
I also keep promising to start (I don’t count doing one puzzle as ‘starting a book’) The C Puzzle book. I even carry it around in my bag but I just haven’t found a nice quiet spot in order to work on it. Maybe when there is a nice sunny day I’ll go over to Rittenhouse Square and work on it.
