Canning Spam For Good
It’s amazing how little time that running a mail server on FreeBSD requires once you configure all the components to your liking. To cap off the last little bit of spam that sneaks through Spamhaus’ excellent blacklist I’ve started running Spamassassin which will score messages based on rules and apply bayesian filtering.
I’ve been kicking around the idea of releasing a FreeBSD derivative that comes out of the box ready to start running mail services. Everything would be set and ready for immediate use. I think I would call it MailBSD.
