Windows Metaphors

Unless you’ve been living in a wooden shed in Montana, you know that Microsoft is the (well deserved) butt end of IT jokes.

Feast your eyes upon this gem:

"The [Environmental Protection Agency] comes out with second hand smoke and suddenly smoking is banned everywhere," he said during a keynote at the RSA security conference in San Francisco. "You have a right to infect and give yourself illness. You don't have the right to infect your neighbor. Computers are the same way."

There you have it. Someone has equated using Windows with smoking, and has predicted that eventually all Windows users will be exiled from restaurants and public houses, to feed their nasty habit in the Internet equivalent of a parking lot - Windows Live.

What is absolutely hilarious is that Microsoft pays this Nostradamus.
